Hello, my name is Mia.
I am 10 years old and the new resident clinic pet.  I first came to VMS in July of 2023 so Dr. Spilker could manage my diabetes. Now I just boss everyone around to feed me.  Occasionally I lie to them in hopes of getting more treats, but all my friends seem to know better. In my free time I like to micromanage our lab, making sure my technicians are writing everything down properly, or I’m on our BEMER bed sleeping next to our doctor. You may occasionally hear me meow very loudly when you are visiting our clinic. Don’t worry though, I’m just telling people to open doors for me so I can roam about the clinic.  If you happen to be lucky enough to meet me, please only pet my head. I may not like it if you pet my belly. Have a wonderful day meeting my VMS family who takes care of me,  and if you have to bring a dog to my clinic please leash them so they don’t eat me!
